Power and Air Quality Audit Trainings are designed to help our customers to have a certified auditor for their own or external power and air quality audits. A certified auditor is a professional who understands the standards and principles of auditing and the auditing techniques of examining, questioning, evaluating and reporting to determine the system's adequacy and deficiencies. He analyzes all elements of the power system and/or air within the specified area and judges its degree of adherence to the criteria of industrial management and quality evaluation and control systems.
This training gives in and out exposure to the trainee about all aspects of an audit. It starts with Audit Planning, Walk-Through, Identification of audit points, live measurement and data logging as applicable, data management from loggers and meters and up to preparation of audit report with data analysis, findings and recommendations. Exposure to standards, guidelines, tools, software, safety requirements etc are briefly covered based on the requirement or nature of customer business and trainee’s job profile and qualifications
Out Power Quality Audit training enable the trainee to handle checks of reliability, efficiency and safety of an organization’s electrical system, analyzing overall energy efficiency and identify the types of power problems that can lead to erratic system operation, hot-spots and premature component failures. It also give training on usage of analyzers, instruments designed to detect faults and deteriorations and data loggers and techniques to discover parameters that may be of use in locating the causes of electrical disturbances, poor power factors, harmonic pollution etc. Our Air Quality Audit Training enables the trainee to provide a comprehensive service relating to modelling, monitoring and assessment of air quality, covering a range of air pollutants that affect health and ecosystems, as well as dusts and odors that affect amenity.
The generic Power and Air Quality Audit schedules that are typically adopted for various types of industry or business are covered in the audit training. But, as each site can be unique due to site practices, access and working time restrictions, customization of audit techniques also will be briefed so as mitigation techniques. This training module is designed to enable our customer employee to master in interpreting the audit data and reports and devising mitigation techniques and solutions to the power quality and air quality issues identified through the audit.
A certified auditor’s ability to quickly identify, analyze and remedy power quality problems will help ensure metering accuracy, lengthen the life of electrical equipment and improve power system availability. This training module combines Unicorn’s extensive field measurement and study experience to familiarize attendees with the terminology and concepts to evaluate it. The effects of quality aberrations on various power system components and methods of reducing such aberrations will also be addressed. Air quality mitigation techniques are based on compliance requirements and thus hugely depended on type of assessment done like simple impact screening or advanced dispersion modelling. We are able to provide training for purposes of planning, permitting and environmental compliance.
