Reverse Osmosis (RO) is a widely-applied water treatment technology that uses membranes to recover purified permeate from a pressurized feed/brine stream. Unicorn’s RO Systems are designed to meet most demanding and exacting residential, commercial and industrial requirements including medical. With a modular design, & using the latest in low pressure, high efficiency membranes these RO models provide the lowest possible operating costs whilst producing reliable high-quality RO water. The wide range can handle flows upto 3600 L/hr. Our de-salination / brackish water systems can handle flows upto 40 m3/hr and 42000 ppm of salinity.
Excessive hardness in water due to high levels of calcium carbonate will cause scale build-up on pipes and particularly water heating elements and even slow lathering. All these problems can be eliminated efficiently by installing an Automatic Water Softner. They utilize the ion exchange process where the calcium is replaced with the more soluble sodium. Softened water reduces the accumulation of harmful scale in equipment caused by iron, calcium, magnesium and manganese ions, without the use of anti-scalant chemicals, resulting in both immediate and long-term energy and cost savings.

Deionized water also known as demineralized water is water that has had its mineral ions removed. Mineral ions such as cations of sodium, calcium, iron, copper, etc and anions such as chloride, sulphate, nitrate, etc are common ions present in water. Because the majority of water impurities are dissolved salts, deionization produces a high purity water that is generally similar to distilled water, and this process is quick and without scale build-up. It comprises a physical process separate the large objects from the water. Here the sand and stones present in the water collect in the bottom of the chamber and also allows all the organic precipitate to settle down while oils, fats, grease float on the top of the water. Also these are a biological system where the oxygen is allowed to mix with the water and thus microorganisms present in the water are eliminated. Finally, a chemical process of water recycling, the water is passed through the chlorine chambers. The chlorine kills the microorganisms which were not even captured in the above processing.
